Hidden gems and homemade jams
Our stay at The Old Rectory was delightful. The beautiful grounds and our spacious family suite allowed for relaxation after day trips to nearby attractions. Tim and Helen's warm hospitality made us feel at home, and the breakfasts, especially the homemade jams, were delicious.
Finding the property took a bit of effort, especially in the dark due to limited signage. An illuminated sign would definitely help future guests find their way more easily.

I enjoyed a comfortable stay with a lovely breakfast made to order, featuring a great selection. the noise from the nearby main road was noticeable, which took away from the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. better signage would certainly help first-time visitors find the property more easily.

The breakfast is a real treat—made to order with a variety you won’t get bored of. Homemade jams that are a sweet bonus. The family suite is spacious with comfy furniture, perfect for unwinding after exploring the area.
Signage here is less than stellar. it took some navigating in the dark to find the place, and a visible light on the sign would help newcomers immensely. The noise from the nearby A303 is noticeable, even with the double-glazing, which can detract from the otherwise serene setting. there were some reports of slow drainage in the showers that might raise a few eyebrows.

We had a fantastic group stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and breakfast in the cozy lounge was a highlight, especially with options like smoked salmon. We explored Stonehenge and Salisbury easily from here. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect base for our adventures.
One downside was that the mattress in our room was a bit too soft for my liking, which gave me some backache during our stay.

Cozy stay with a great breakfast!
We had a lovely one-night stay. The king room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was super comfy. Tim was so helpful showing us around and recommending nearby spots. The lounge area was perfect for relaxing, and breakfast was a feast! Just a bit of road noise if you like sleeping with the window open.
